The Cards are the best team in the majors with a record of 95-56 (.629). They are 15 games behind the 1954 Indians, who went 110-41 (.728) through 151 games.So, what this essentially means, is that the State of Missouri has the best and the worst teams in MLB. Dubious distinction, that.
The Royals are the worst team in the majors with a record of 48-99 (.327). They are 15 games better than the 1916 Athletics, who went 33-114 (.224) through 147 games.
